Rachel Gardner, LCSW Founder and Director

Rachel completed her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Southern California in 2012 and is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Kentucky. She brings 15 years of diverse macro and clinical experience, with specialization in trauma-informed care that integrates cognitive and somatic approaches. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Structural Family Therapy, Brainspotting, Sand Tray Therapy, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Sound Healing, and is working toward certification in Yoga Therapy.

Rachel’s passion is to ignite hope, encourage perseverance, and promote authenticity throughout her client’s transformational journey so they can reach their highest potential and thrive. She is inspired and finds it rejuvenating to be a part of the process of empowering clients to make sustainable change, and is humbled and honored to be permitted to walk the path of healing together. In her free time, Rachel can be found experimenting with new recipes, hosting game nights, at the gym, volunteering, gardening, bonding with her horse, snuggling with her cats, and exploring nature through camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, and horseback riding.
